Good but be careful
Product is a great help but isn't perfect. Doesn't deal with Foreign T5 income well and Help limited. This problem continues for many years now.

Great Product - Used for years, But...
Really like the FORMS method.
1) Couldn't get CRA Auto-Fill to work fo us.
2) Received a prompt to Install or Remove the TurboTax app every time we loaded the program from the desktop icon.
3) Some confusion about the optimization of Chartable contributions i.e. what amount to carry over, etc.

process errors
TurboTax refused to NetFile my wife's return because a box in my T4A did not record the number of months of my pension (12). The error message appeared only in her return. I eventually found and fixed the omission in my return and then it filed my wife's return but showed my return as not filed even though I had a printed acknowledgement.

Excellent Product
Have been using for years for my whole family. The information carried forward from the previous year submission saves TONS of time and potential errors. (you still need to verify the checkboxes on page 1 of the T1 General).

Not as Smart as I had hoped
Been using TurboTax and its predecessors for years and years. Still have a feeling that I need to prompt it about certain things. Not a good feeling when I think I know more about certain situations than the software. But not likely to change at this point. Just have to keep myself continually educated in order to keep up.

Used it for years
Turbo Tax is perfect for people who have very basic tax files, however it can get complicated if you are reporting investment gains or losses. I had to claim a capital gain one year (for the first time ever) and despite several calls to the help desk, no agent was able to understand or answer my question. I had to muddle through it myself and hope for the best. I was almost at the point of giving up and going to an accountant and ended up paying for audit protection just in case I had made a mistake.

Capital Gains
TurboTax has a nice feature allowing us as a couple to choose a split% for T3 and T5 slips. I hope that this feature can be expanded to capital gains for joint investment accounts.

Good but could be improved and streamlined
Generally this is a good program and we've used it for many years. My biggest frustration is the inability to move T5008 slips between spouses when the holdings are in a joint investment account. When the slips are downloaded from CRA they only go to one spouse, and if you want to split the income/capital gains, it takes a lot of manual re-entry. The constant prompts to upgrade and buy additional services are incredibly annoying, and even when you say "Don't show me this again" they still display briefly when you move between screens.

Capital Gain Loses
Struggled with this area net capital losses, had a difficult time carrying past losses forward, and present capital gains backward.
Still suspect my return was not filed accurately, we'll see. Noticed allot of help questions in this area also, so not just me expirencing some difficulty

Good program
Not bad, makes taxes fairly simple. There are some missing peices that would help, such as the education transfer peice. That is kind of vague, and I needed to research outside the program to finish.

Higher Price, More Problems
Guys, I have been using this for many years. I note the significantly higher price (40%) more than last year. It crashed when i was netfiling. The font if now soooo small in the smaller windows that you have to fill out and don't benefit form the text size controls. I am going to look for alternatives next year - the price increase is too much.
