Getting more complicated each year
The steps required is getting more and more each year. Also, it is not easy to review the schedule while preparing the return. The bookmark can only be inserted at the end of each section, not when it is required. As the result, you have to go through almost the whole section to adjust the figure.

Turbo Tax 2017
I noticed improvements in Turbo tax year over year. Very easy to use and very intuitive.
Tax calculations done for two in less than two hours with multi rechecks to ensure correct and complete.

To fix
for foreign income although there is a box for exchange rate it would be nice to confirm on your form that the amount of income is in the currency or the provider (ie US dollars)
Once noting the person is deceased it should not even start with the option to netfile just to find out you can't anyway

great tax tool
have been using Turbotax since Quicktax. Product is easy to use. Need some improvement on T1 adjustment file later for different Tax year. It need some guideline how to update information back to tax file after adjustment is made

Some Clunky Features
Often there is no easy way to exit a function - for example, I just Netfiled and it seems to be in an endless loop, going round and round. Where is the exit button???

Worth The Money
This is my tenth year using Turbo Tax. I am in my late 70s and even I can follow the instructions. Sometimes an instruction requires some thinking about, but it does lead one to the proper conclusions. In the ten years I have been using this product, CRA has never questioned my returns.

Satisfactory
Overall I like this product, and have used it for years. However, this time when I was using Easy Step, it kept skipping over steps. Also, if I went back to check something, I could not skip ahead using the side menu. Instead I had to go through each page again to get to where I left off. Some frustration in these areas, but otherwise a good product.

Very Easy To Use
Only issue was that the program hangs when trying to load T4 information from the CRA if the CRA system says "the information is not currently available - try again later." Unfortunately, Turbo Tax does not provide a way to abort the download or try the download again. This results in the LOSS of all information entered since last saving the return since the only way to move forward is to kill the program using task manager. For this reason I could not give it 5 stars.

I like the versatility of switching back and forth between husband and wife for each of the forms.
On some forms and info. the print was smaller than I could comfortably see. However the main forms were able to adjust to a comfortable size.
