Online Help
Had a problem with one page. Contacted expert online then by telephone. Had to wait only 1-2 minutes and had excellent help. Would recommend the telephone help especially if a person is not well versed or good with computers.

User friendly product
I've used TurboTax for 9 years. This is the 1st time I had a challenge. It would not save one of the ITR I processed. Contacted the help desk; spoke with a person from Georgia. Extremely helpful. Finally to solve the problem I had to uninstall the program I loaded from disk then load the program from a TT online site. Problem solved.

Some Buttons did not work for me
I was surprised to find that I was asked to enter my personal details etc.according to the step by step guide when using Standard as I understood it would auto transfer all that info! Also I clicked the box for Quarterly Installments but ended up having to manually sort down through the long form to find the location to hand enter it. Did I go wrong somewhere? And when I searched the FORMS screen I could only find the calculator for next years quarterly installments (2018)!

Solid Workhorse
I have been using this product for over 20 years and like it. The product support (from India) however is really poor. They have little expertise in the product and more often than not it is a waste of time contacting them.

Great except 1 thing
The program will often ask you if want to do things like enter a form or save or print, which one has already or it already has done. For example I was asking info for 1 form and I was 100% sure if it had it. Also, it asks you whether you want to print or save, and then returns you to same screen asking if you want to print of save. In the first case they need to say we have this form and information do you have any others. In the second they need to saved or printed and would you like to print or save another copy.

Repeat customer
I have used this Turbo Tax Standard for several years now. It consistently gets easier to use, and covers all the basic deductions that our family has. Especially worthwhile price-wise when you have a lot of T slips to enter, as some tax companies charge for each T slip.

It's good BUT
Review process is clunky and onerous. Also, many pages get printed despite having NO information on them, even though I agreed to the program closing blank forms. Also, no apparent way to close forms that may be used only in occasional years (Business Income, Professional Income, etc.)

annoying pop up
I have used this product for 5-6 years now. But this year there was a script error that kept popping up, I was able to file all the returns that needed to be done BUT this kept popping up! an error has occurred in the script on this page line: 4 char: 2 Error: automation server can't create object URL: res//C:\program file (x86) \Turbo Tax2017 \tt2017r.dll/s/automations.... it would ask if I wanted to continue which I always said yes but sometimes it took 4-5 times to get rid of that screen and other than that I really like your product and I will continue to use it

Turbo Tax 2017
I am using Quick-Turbo tax for many years now. I am comfortable using it. This year I had a very time consuming problem. I ordered on line the CD. Upon completely finished my taxes I noticed that the capital gains were not properly entered on the Quebec return. I had over 70 T5008 slips and on the provincial return only the first 30 entries were indicated, I called the helpline and was told the CD has a problem and should have been ordered the downloadable format. The agent e-mailed me the download and that worked. I should have been advised by e-mail when Turbo tax discovered that the CD was defective. It would have saved me many hours of work since I had to restart the entire return on the downloaded platform. It is very disappointing.

Netfile has BIG Glitch!!!!!
BIG problem with Netfile. My return went through fine but my husbands would not file and when printing out the mailing copy I got pages with "duplicate do not mail" None of this makes any sense. VERY, VERY FRUSTRATING. Please fix this for next year!!!!! I am sending the do not mail pages as I have nothing else to sen but this could cause me mega problems and i will be very, very angry with your program.
