one point of confusion
When income splitting, on Total Income Summary page, the spouses income is shown as having been increased, however, the income of the spouse who is splitting the income does not go down from its pre splitting total. Gives the impression that combined income is much higher than it actually is.

Easy to use
As stated in my title, Turbo Tax (Standard) is easy to use. I used to spend hours preparing income taxes for my husband and me, by hand. Turbo Tax has given me the gift of time! The only thing I can think to suggest is a "Live Chat" function with someone who could answer Canada Revenue Agency Income Tax questions.

Amazing Product
It is so simple to enter your income tax. It has easy steps for anyone to follow easily without hassle. Save me some money and even a trip to an accountant office.
Also, this software will try to get some refund as much as it can, it gives you some opportunities to explore for any $$$ to be given back to you.
Check it out, low price to buy this product and save $$$!!

Needs Work
This year's Turbo Tax seemed harder to use than previous years. I should be able to go back and forth between screens to correct any errors I realize, but, though Turbo Tax lets you go back to the original segment of any area, it does not let you go to the one you want until you are pretty much completed the return
and you can edit. By then, you may not remember exactly where the error is and what it was.

Industry Codes Frustration!
This program was not ever helpful in finding the correct industry code for selling a product similar to Avon. We wasted hours of time. It would have been helpful to even know how many digits you were looking for. Grrr.r..r.r.r.r

Turbo Tax Standard 2017
Overall I have used Turbo Tax for several years and found it to be quite good. There were several times that information inserted was questioned during the review, in several ways, such as zero income for a spouse!!Believe it!

Recommendation
Would recommend easier method to override certain fields i.e. Married but do not want to/cannot claim spouse at this time. Just so there are no surprises on the final return (Refund or owing) where claims are made but not eligible.

Works perfect till the end
The whole process works perfectly until the end after netfiling. The program asks if you would like to do another return and regardless of a yes or no answer, you are sent back to "you are ready to file". You have to go to file and select "new" to start a new file. Other than that, woks well and easy.

Thorough and easy to follow.
Very thorough and easy to use I've been using Turbotax for about six years because CRA's paper forms are too complicated especially the income splitting.

Need printing improvement

turbotax is soooo easy
I've used turbotax for many years and with every year it gets easier to use. I especially liked how my t4s were automatically downloaded from my CRA account, it made entering information a breeze.
