worst purchase ever
information enters easily then gets trapped in a closed loop at the end and have no way to exit the program. turbo tax used to be 5 stars all around but has been steadily getting worse these last couple years and I"ll be looking for a different tax system next year.. after more than a decade with turbotax this really sucks!!.

Troubles with Disc
I purchased the Standard version which includes the capability for 8 returns. Why don't you make a version for a one-return scenario that is cheaper to buy?
When I attempted to download the info from the disc, it loaded onto my computer, a desktop LENOVO, but it did NOT launch. After three attempts (and 30 minutes of wasted time) I downloaded the program via the web using my key. Why include the disc in the box and give the false impression it will work?

Reliable and easy to use
This is at least my 10th year using this product and it has always been easy and reliable. No brainer to purchase each year. The only improvement I could suggest is a better explanation of how to calculate and include capital depreciation claims for cars.

GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY
I HAVE BEEN USING THIS SOFTWARE NOW FOR WELL OVER 10 YEARS.
ONLY COMMENT I WOULD MAKE IS THAT THEY COULD MAKE THE ACTUAL PAGES I LOOK AT WHEN COMPLETING MY RETURN MORE LEGIBLE.
Eg: The size and colour of text used could be made more easy to read. The size of text is sometimes hard for me to read, I use glasses. The contrasting colours used for background and text could be made easier to read as opposed to light grey with what I think is grey text on a white background. Black text on a white background with the option provide to make the text bigger. Other than this small complaint I otherwise like using this software.

Turbo Tax

Turbo Tax 2017
I've used Turbo tax for the past 10 years and found it to be pretty easy to use.
This year there were script errors that popped up with every screen and would not go away with one click. (REALLY ANNOYING)
I'm not a computer whizz, so I do not know if that means that there is a problem with the software or with the internet connection when using net file.
Net File went through, so I think everything was ok.

Turbotax misses a tax savings tip/reminder
I purchase TurboTax every year for the last 10 plus ears. I was disappointed to learn after filing my return that the BC Tax credit for child fitness and the arts was still available. The program did not provide any tip or reminder of this which should have come up automatically. now have to refile or eat the $120. Disappointed

Turbo Tax 2017
Turbo Tax 2017 was easy to use: gathered last years personal info, even though it asks to verify it again. As well, I must have been asked six times if I sold my residence. Not sure why.
The program crashed when sending the info to CRA and I went to the CRA website and I had to manually shut it down and start it again and resend T1 to CRA.

Always the Best

Improvement Suggestion
For inputting info from common reporting forms (eg T4), set up the TurboTax input screen to mirror the actual paper form. This would make inputting easier and less confusing, rather than looking for the form's box numbers.

It's OK but needs work.
1) For anyone with investment income you have to be extremely careful how you fill in the T3 information. It would be better to show the entire list of boxes rather than hiding them in various other segments.
2) After you netfile the app goes around in a loop rather than returning you to your return. Stupid.
3) Keeps pestering me for RRSP info. We're maxed out so don't need it. Shut up.
4) When I clicked on the box to leave this comment I was taken to a Microsoft advert for their new browser.
