Great time saver!!!!!
Wow - when I think of the really old days (I am 78) when returns were done manually on paper I have to say that your product today is a miracle come true. It was a LOT of work when being done manually and mistakes were not uncommon. Thanks ever so much!!!!! Your prices are very reasonable to purchase the package-thanks.

Simple and conversational
The user interface just keeps getting better with each year. I really like the interview format. Mostly just answering a bunch of questions which makes the whole process very easy for simple returns like ours. I also appreciated the support information available online for specific questions I had. My only complaint would be the harassing emails I receive, trying to get me to use the free online version. I'm not very interested in a non-governmental company having my personal financial information. I much prefer purchasing the installation version and keeping everything local on my hard drive - but that's just me. I'm thankful that's still an option for dinosaurs like me.

Great integration
I've gotten used to TurboTax through using it for years, but I'm impressed this year by the new level of integration with the CRA. I used it to download my T4 info and RRSP contribution info, saving me the data entry, and got my notice of assessment right after filing. Very convenient.

easy to use
I used the standard package even though turbo tax recommended an upgrade because of investments. I did that one year and found no benefit so I switched back to the standard package and it met all my needs

Fast and Easy
You don't have to sort your papers, just enter each item as it comes up on the pile. Turbo Tax does all the rest including integrated preparation of you and your spouse's return, optimization of pension income sharing and allocation of charitable gifts.

Gets Better Every Year
Finally after using the product for many years, there wasn’t a box on my T4 with no place to enter it. Working for a very large Canadian company, I was always frustrated that thousands of people would have a box on their T4 and nowhere to enter it in TurboTax.

Easy Taxes
While the name has changed over the years, Turbotax is one of the best and easiest software programs to use. We started with it when we lived in BC, and continued using it through our move and all these 18 years later. We completed tax returns for our children while they still lived at home and now they use it too. Great product.

Step by Step is very well thought out
Two problems with it but minor. First is I'm over 73 years of age, yet the step-by-step asks about RRSPs. I'm so finished with RRSPs. Also, since all my investments are joint, I can specify how much the T3s and T5s can be split between my wife and me. I had to do this manually a few different times. Would be nice if TurboTax did this with an optimize button.

Very Good Product
I have user Turbotax for many years (10+)
and I like it.
However, I would like it to have an option to
print various information sheets that are
displayed while processing the Return.
Such as: Deductions Summary, Earnings
Summary, etc.
This year, I missed the Year-over-year

A word of caution.
Like all computer programs, one should have a basic understanding of the various activities required to use the program. In particular, one should have a basic understanding of CCA if you use that activity. I don't and, therefore, have problems with doing my taxes.

Correction comments
Quebec taxpayers file separate provincial and federal forms. When choice of language is checked on the federal form, it does NOT reflect on the provincial form so it has to be overridden.
GST is 5% so the multiplier.in Form GST370E should be 5/100 not 5/105.
PST in Quebec is 9.975% so the multiplier in Form VD-358-V is 0.09975 and not 0.0907.
Had to override the amounts in these forms and was not allowed for Netfile as a result.
Please correct the above for next year. I have been using your product for almost 20 years. Thank you.
