I found that the "improvements" for 2016 were not really helpful for me. Perhaps because I was very happy with previous years and find it difficult to change. Maybe that is because I have had difficulty this year switching to MS 10 and losing my Sage (Simply) program.

large fonts & higher contrast
FINALLY! I have repeatedly suggested to Intuit that they provide an option for larger font sizes and higher contrast to assist baby boomers in using this program. I am thrilled to say that they finally listened. Now this program is perfect. Thank you Intuit

mostly good
Like the program and the questions are good, but getting too much in here. Like for instance, I can't find income splitting although I know if goes on line 423, It seems if you miss something, and answer wrong you can't go back to correct it.

Enjoy program, but small printing issue
The only thing I would like is to be able to figure out how to print the tax summary and the year over year comparisons from the program. I have tried to copy and save individual pages and then print them. That worked once for me, but last year I couldn't seem to figure it out. Haven't tried this year. Not a huge issue though. Overall, I enjoy using your program, even though I still double check against the actual tax forms to make sure everything went to the right places. That is just me, probably making extra work for myself, but...I do enjoy working with numbers and the program.

Time to keep the status quo
I have been using Turbo tax and Quick tax for over 10 years and love the ease of use, but this year the cosmetic changes and differences were much greater than previous years. I think its time to select a schematic users like and stick with it! Improve the help,tips, review or filing process...but its tiring opening the BOX and knowing year after year the format and functionality has to be relearned, when at the end of the day its the same input and outcome.

Good Program - used it for years
The program is easy to use and you can generally get it on sale since retailers compete. My wife, children and I are all happy with it.
One improvement I would like is for the program to inform us of the maximum charitable and medical amounts that can be forwarded with out decreasing the return amount expected. It is just a minor task to make changes ourselves and watch the return amount for any change, but it does require several variations to be entered.

not so bad
It is fairly simple to use. the only problem is if you need a little more explanation of certain deductions you have to leave your return. whereas other income tax filing system they have a question mark right beside the deduction should you not quite understand or if you just want to verify something you just click the question mark.

No full support for US IRA Distributions
Still does not fully handle US IRA distributions (which affect pension splitting). IRA distributions ARE pension income, but have to be excluded from pension income for purposes of calculating the maximum amount of pension that can be split with your spouse.

glitches in this years turbo tax
I found that turbo tax was coming back with errors, when checking for the errors I could find none. I believe it may have to do with the province of income, but it does not show that error.

Turbo Tax Standard
Easy to use, led me easily through all the forms required, netfiled effortlessly. Only complaint is the unfamiliar date format used - dd/mm/yyyy - instead of ISO format (which Canada adopted in the 1970s).

spouses net income
OMG I've been using this product for years, can't you come up with a way to automatically bring up your spouse's net income. This is absurd because you have to exit and go get the # then put in right place.

The fonds are super small
The fonds are super small, I have to use Ctr + to increase the display. Even with that, the Menu fonts are very small and difficult to read. It wasn't like that last year, please fix the issue for in your update.

Good but could use more hints
For those of you yet to use this application.. it is good. You have to be somewhat educated about tax incentives and such before you do your taxes in order to get the best return. For example, did you know you can do a T-1213 Request to Reduce taxes at Source if you do RRSPs and hate getting so much money back from the government without acrued interest? Anyways... if you are getting lots back ask yourself if your employer is taking off too much.

Use it every year
I buy and use Turbo tax every year - I think that often the help is not the best, usually there is little help for complicated sections, but for standard questions it is pretty good. In any case, TT guides you well through the process for someone who only considers tax at tax time and does not understand a lot of the tax terminology. I will buy again next year as usual.
