Pretty Easy to Use
Pretty straight forward with some useful reference material. Some things could use improvement like when you want to change something you entered, like removing data from a Logi-Renov claim when you don't reach the minimum claim. It kept raising issues even when I blanked out all the fields.

You cancelled the use of Vista TOO EARLY. I had not completed my Business Return and could use Netfile by June 15th. A Bad decision and created many problems

Edit entries
If you enter a possible deduction but later determine that you do not qualify you should be able to go to the summary click on the entry and go to that section to remove or change the entry.

Decent tax software
The Standard edition is all you really need even if you have a sole proprietor business. It has all the forms you need. The more expensive business edition just gives you some extra optimizers, and probably includes the business forms in the Easystep interview option.
Everything worked pretty well but it was annoying that on some forms the mouse scroll wheel would not scroll the form; you had to click and drag on the slider at the right. And there was no error checking if you applied more capital losses from a past year than you had capital gains in the current year.

Simple and good value!
I have been using TurboTax for years. It is simple to use, and can be used for multiple tax returns. When we bought our rental property, we upgraded to include investment properties, and it was still incredibly easy to use! Easy step walks you through each area of the return, one step at a time. I would recommend this program highly!

Ease of Use
We, of the senior generation, can find some areas difficult to navigate and I found I was still having to use the official tax guide to make sure I did everything correctly. Also, it wasn't clear at the summary and printing stage that you file one at a time completely then go back and do the next one. Not too clear on whether I saved the returns correctly or not.

dear sir madam,
I found the program easy to understand and easystep was very helpful in entering the information on the t slips etc. what I didn't like was the way it switched back and forth between spouses to enter information. It can become confusing when you are concentrating on information for one spouse and then it switches to the other spouse.I should have the option to complete one spouse at a time and then combine them when they are complete.

I have used this product with little or no problems for 5 years.....this year there were changes that made me have to navigate around much more than before but still happy with the ease of doing it. Its great for married or common law people as you can enter both at once and it will give you suggestions as to who should claim what to maximize yoiur return.....thanks

Comfortably Numb

FRUSTRATED THAT DONATIONS STILL CANNOT BE SPLIT

Tax Time's Best Friend
TurboTax has a great layout and design. Almost everything is clear and it walks the user through each step without feeling patronizing or "dumbed down". Definitions and explanations are available at practically every step and it comes with many options and guides.
The only adjustment we would recommend is that the error notifications do not always take you to the exact screen you need. They seem to default to specific screens depending on your error but some errors need a different screen and we were forced to hunt from the beginning.
Other than that one issue, we were more than happy and we will definitely be using TurboTax again in the future!

Many aspects improved, but don't like OLD replies
Many aspects improved, but I don't like OLD replies in the Help Section. the rules can change over time and the old replies (3 or more years old in some cases) can be misleading. I like having the "real form" show below the Easy Steps pages. The format for everything seemed easier to use this year.

easy to use but....
There was not a way to optimize taxes paid when I looked at my child's tuition transfer or dividends etc. I had to fool with the program myself to see where the best benefit would be.

Easy to Use
TurboTax is one of the easiest tax software to use. But, it is also one of the most expensive. Maybe Intuit can lower the price by reducing the number of returns per CD (copy).
