Excellent value for your buck!
The first few year I used the product I could not believe how quickly I was done, compared to the old pencil and paper pad days. I spent more time looking for possible mistakes but couldn't find any. The last few years I've completed the return in a few minutes, Netfiled and knew I had no worries.

good but not perfect- privacy concern
-program easy to follow and new feature to download last year from Revenue Canada will save time.
-just follow steps but sometimes you lose track of what you are doing
-I've used this for 5+years Still frustrating,
-should give users option of not storing their info with turbotax but to download it to their computer and erase the turbo tax copy. I've always used the disc so I could control the data. I was really felt deceived.
-need to move links close to optimize feature so user can easily change info recommended by optimizer not have to go searching for it
- may not use it again if I can't prevent turbotax from getting my info.

Great value - needs some improvement
I use Turbo Tax every year and it is so simple - I recommend to all. What I would like to see is the ability to link two returns for spouses so that while I input data onto my return, it updates the required fields on my husband's return so that I don't have to close and re-open each of our returns 3 or more times.

View range
I've been using TurboTax for quite a few years now and have found it to be easy to navigate. I use the forms view as the information that I have to input is in all the slips.
My biggest complaint has to do with the inability to change the resolution of the screens, using either Ctl + or Ctl -, to zoom in/make the text and boxes larger, while in the forms view. By the end of the evening, I'm straining my eyes to make out the text on screen, including this entry.

MUCH Improved
This year it was easier to use. I didn't get any discrepancies when I did 2 iterations and walking through each step was so easy.
One part - the NS Tax Credit (NS low income tx reduction/ equity tax credit) should have more info on the that pg, it would be more helpful
NETFILE was super easy
ALSO - IF you could split the screen and have the same questions beside each other for you and your spouse it would be quicker for us to run through it.

Simple & Quick
I use the Standard version of Turbo Tax to do my family income tax returns. We are 2 parents and 3 university age children. It was so quick and easy and Turbo Tax pointed out savings tips etc that I would have missed.
This is a great product that I will use year after year.

Big Time Saver
I have been using TurboTax for several years now, and it certainly saves me an enormous amount of time. I own three businesses and so my paperwork load is high. The best thing about it is that if I make a mistake somewhere near the beginning, and go back to correct the mistake, I don't have to redo all of the calculations from that point on. TurboTax does the math for me. However I wish it was easier in the help section to find a list of all the different CCA classes.

Business expenses re vehicles
This section could be enhanced both for expenses and CCA portions. More detail is needed with regard to Max $30,000 vehicle cost + how to deal with GST + how to deal with purchases/sales of vehicles during the year or starting a new job with vehicle expenses during the year.

Long time user
As a long time user I was saddened to find that it appears that there isn't a download version for Mac. I have had to cancel my annual subscription and will likely change software for the 2016 tax year.\
If you do develop a download version for Mac, I might buy it.

Convenient, small bugs
Everything was fine except for the charitable donations optimizer. It seemed to be buggy. The tax return amount would get stuck and then occasionally change again when playing with the slider, etc etc

Good software - but hides too much
Great software but you have to know how to navigate it if you are using easy steps.
For instance I earn a very little bit of interest on my bank accounts - the basic version does not ask you for that in plain language and I always get re-assessed.

Missing Something?

GOOD BUT HAS ISSUES
HAD TROUBLE WITH ENTRIES ON THE QUEBEC RETURN FOR HBP. IT WAS CONFUSING ON WHERE TO ENTER THE REPAYMENT AMOUNT. IT WAS UNCLEAR!
IT WAS VERY CLEAR HOWEVER ON THE FEDERAL RETURN.
HOPE YOU CAN IMPROVE THE QUEBEC ONE.

Does the job well
I can do my taxes easily using this product.The part that needs work is the worksheet for rental income. The name and details of the partner need to be keyed in again every time you enter a sheet filled in previously. It's been like this for years and I don't know why it's not getting fixed.

Good Product - Easy to use
This is a good product. I have used the Standard TurboTax for 3 years running after doing my own income tax and a friends tax by hand for years. Saves alot of calculations. At present, I do not have a very complicated tax scenario but it saves time and as stated previously, calculations. Easy to follow. I'd recommend it.
A suggestion I would make: I would like to be able to print certain screens or to be able to copy and print into WORD some of the screens that come up while working through the program. Don't think the software allows one to do this.

A couple of challenging issues
I couldn't make a change to the % ownership of the business my wife and I own. It refused to to allow me to move from the 50/50 ownership I used in prior years.
Also, it told me that the medical receipts were not being used and to save them for the next year, but when I deleted some of the receipts I was suddenly showing more taxes owing.

Generally easy to use. There are some areas where more explanation or clarification would be useful (eg. exchange rate for foreign income - Can/US or US/Can). More examples could be useful also.

18 years a satisfied customer
2015 will be my 18th year using the tax software product from Intuit.
It is my strong belief that once you find a product that works for you and that you are happy with why would you look to something else. In all these years I have never had a reason to look for another tax program.
This tax software is easy to use and generally a very quick experience.
While doing income taxes is never a "fun" experience, using Intuit software does make the preparation painless.
