Saves time and money
I have used TurboTax for many years. I am confident it always gets me the right and the best refund. But the best thing is, it has changed tax time from a long period of dread into a one- or two-hour jaunt. And time is money, but even better, it is golf.

Good and getting better
I have been using TurboTax for several years and the Easy Step Process is getting better each iteration. There are still issues with overrides and other warnings. But netfile has gotten easier. Now if only there were a MAC version for all of us in Mac World!

Simple, fast, affordable
The tax program was easy to install, fillin in the tax forms was straight forward using easy steps. The price for the software package was reasonable and I did not have to wait in any lines or disclose my tax information to a third party.

The form to review at the end is frustrating as it seems to lump amounts together. I could not determine if one of my credits had been entered properly and then I may have ended up entering it twice.

Turbo Tax 2015 Value
Excellent package! Use it every year.
More or less intuitive and easy to use.
Could benefit from use of the "back Arrow" to save & store a detailed worksheet and return to main form or T1.
In the medical claims sheet, the wording is vague as there is a line entitled "less reimbursement" which can be interpreted as "the reimbursement to be subtracted" or "the amount after reimbursement subtracted". Have to scratch my head on this every year.
Good all round package.

Have used TurboTax for a number of years. Fairly easy to use and is economical for doing taxes for our entire family. The constant reminders to upgrade are a little annoying, especially when you complete more than one return.

great with reservations
I got through this with minimal fuss. However, the "warnings" section was confusing and scary. More detail is needed about what might be questionable. Also, there needs to be advice that one can claim health insurance payments as a medical expense. i found out by accident.

Easy, Informative, Imperfect
Does a good job of guiding you through the process and covering the important categories. Lots of useful information available in Help section.
Using this year-over-year has advantages in importing information and time-savings from familiarity.
A number of imperfections include (but are not limited to):
* frequent inconvenient invitations to upgrade
* Application of Losses from previous years is not optimized i.e. it may use up Losses without any benefit to the bottom line
* Find feature only locates information already entered, rather than information you may be searching for about fields not yet entered
* Smart Tips, Warnings and Advisories are presented for items already entered correctly
* redundant requests for file saving, printing and submission
* It costs more than some competitive products

I've been a long time user of TurboTax but it is way too expensive for basic income and RRSP deductions will probably buy u-file next year, no real discount for long time users

I've been using Turbo Tax for years to file my Federal and QC taxes and unfortunately there is always some issue that crops up for me. This year I was not able to download my Releve slips from Revenue QC which I was able to do in the past. Kind of annoying! That is why I only gave it 4 stars.
