Turbotax for people with eyesight problems
It would be nice if you were to incorporate a magnifier into the program so that it would be easier to see the small print.

Good rating despite one small problem
I am a multi-year repeat user, and will use it again next year. One small niggle this year however - when I clicked on the "yes" or "no" field in response to a question, my response did not show up .. it only showed up when I then clicked on another field

Cost
Good marketing for TurboTax, not so good for customer.
The program costs stay the same but the number of returns that can be filed over $25000 is reduced.

Good Buy

easy to use and to file
The tax software is easy to use and it is a Easy Steep feature that guided me through. The entry of data's is easy and it is also possible to download data's. In overall, I'm satisfied with the tax software and can recommend it to others.

Too bad XP is no longer supported
This software says that Windows XP will no longer be supported because you can't download any more security patches. So as a result I advise you to start using new tax software now so that you can get used to it.

Skip the Accountant!
For basic home tax returns this program is great! And worth the money - keep more of your return don't use an accountant if you don't need to!

fewer returns this year
I was disappointed to discover that this year Turbo Tax only allows 5 returns instead of 8. My family of 7 filers must now purchase one additional return which diminishes the value to us. Had I known this I may have looked for another product.

Inconsistent Improvements
Have used Turbo Tax for well over a decade. Good from day one it has steadily improved from there. However each year it seems flawed by a number of new navigational inconsistencies and failures to follow through. The time saving downloading of slips and receipts sounds great but has a ways to go. The come-on pressure to upgrade and pay more for things usually not at all needed are also slightly annoying.

TurboTax Standard
Pro
I am a long time user and appreciate the simplicity in completing couple's tax returns. The accuracy is perfect and it is easy to use with a few exceptions. You get a lot of "bang for the buck". I have confidence in this software.
Cons:
Imputing medical expenses is a real pain if you have lots of receipts and the summary form is too short to include all receipts. Also, the printed tax return did no include the medical expenses form.
Getting back from the "spouse input forms" to my forms requires opening a form from the top menu. You used to have two buttons at the bottom to help navigate back and forth but only the spouse button is available.

Easy but side review not showing
TurboTax was easy to use but it would be great to see the review in the margin of both taxes that I was doing. Was there but disappeared when I went back to add another T slip. Could not get it back.

Comprehensive & Straight forward
For our purposes of a working family (employed fulltime, part-time & student), Turbo Tax covers all our needs. This includes employment / pension income, unemployment benefits, tuition related items and small investments. When we have a question there is very helpful pointers on where to go to get clarification and direction.

Taxes for Dummies
