The first thing I didn't like about this edition was that the font was ridiculously small for the body of the product registration, barely legible, even though the header and foot appeared normally. The font for the information entered on the T forms was not as small, but still not an easily readable size. A larger font would be far easier to work with. The second problem I had was that I was unable to enter my address or any other information on page 1 of the T1. This is important, as I could have moved since my last filing, changed marital status, or have acquired foreign assets. It was not until the review portion of the program that I was able to enter this information as a correction to an identified error. I chose to use the forms method of filing, and found it straightforward and quick. I was able to complete and netfile tax returns for my wife and I in about 3 hours. Having used this program for several years helps a lot.

When you are a pensioner, but still working, and you punch "working", then the tax form removes the option to declare CPP. You have to go back and punch "not working" so you can select CPP, then go back and select "working".

Overall pretty easy to follow
I had to do a little extra research online for some items but most definitions and requirements i needed were on the tax software help menu. I had to look up regarding dependents, RESP, and GST filing.

Netfile
Turbo tax is very easy to use. However, when net filing with the 2015version it took a bit of thinking. Uploading was the only way I could file. When opening the browser to find the file I needed I actually cut and pasted the file from the "file to be submitted" located above the "browse" section. It was slick once I got over my frustrations of not finding the file. Not as easy as other years but I got it figured.

Please explain the education tax credits, particularly the transfer of unused credits to parents or family members. I don't know what to do here. What is the best option? How will this help my parents? When can they use my tax credit. There is a big unexplained hole here.

Mac Version I hope
I have used the Windows version of Turbotax for several years and have been very pleased. In 2015 I purchased a Mac as I was tired of the problems with Windows and do not like windows 8 or ten.
I hope TurboTax comes out with a Mac version so I can continue to use this product. I will not use the cloud so the online version is of no use to me.
Keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing a Mac version.

Difficulty to navigate
I had some difficulties to search the required forms. The software was not interactive. For example I looked up how to enter amount in line 438 of the federal tax and no suggestion or response was available. Also the font size could not be adjusted (using Microsoft surface Tablet).

Always a glitch
Most of the time it's good, and easy to use. However, every year, for a Quebec taxpayer, there is always a glitch. This year it was a claim I could not track down that had me claiming a student working in rural regions amount. I never was one, and never claimed to be one, but there it is, on my final copy.
The help is never quite specific enough to track the glitch down.
Other wise, it's a good product, and taxes would be much harder to fill without it. Thanks, TurboTax!

Bugs that have not been fixed
Three years ago I encountered my first bug ever in my long history as a Turbo (Ne: Quicktax) user. That means I went almost 12 years without a bug. Pretty good.
But the disturbing thing is, three years later, no one has fixed that same bug. Pretty bad.
I refer to the annoying bug that x's and numerals typed into some fields don't show up onscreen until you move the cursor to another field and click on it. A workaround of changing my screen to a lower works--sometimes--but why should I have to do that three years later? This problem should have been fixed!
Apart from that, the only negative thing I have to say about this program is the somewhat repetitive and inappropriate "warnings" that come up during the review process. Why is a notice that we can now file 2013 and 2014 returns via Netfile included in the warnings section of my review? I'm also tired of being continually prompted to buy the audit protection. And to review the program--every time I finish a new return. It's annoying.

Very Easy
This year was easier than ever. I really enjoyed the net file section where I didn't need to find my returns via browsing and then click and download. The software did it all for me. I also had an issue with the CD not loading on my computer, but which was resolved by calling and having a support person assist with a download. The download went seamlessly and I used the CD verification code which was accepted. This made it all very easy.
Thanks for the improvements.

Better Every Year Except ...
I've been using Turbo Tax for several years. It is intuitive and easy to use. The review / warnings section is a little annoying sometimes but I blame that on the government. It works to ensure people check. It has saved my butt a few times.
Speaking of but ... the one major thing that bugs me about your software is that I just want to print the tax summary ...detailed and year over year at the end. There is no print function for these sheets.
I end up screen shots and merging in paint and putting into a word doc ... really tiresome.
Please add a print function for these summaries. This is not the first time I have requested this.
