Easy to use, great results
As always the program is easy to use and gives a solid refund. My only issue is a fake missing year error is preventing me from netfiling, please fix with next update!

Turbo Indeed
I purchase Turbo Tax every year and the product keeps improving. Easy to navigate, user-friendly and tons of resources for support and advice.
At first, it was difficult to install Turbo Tax since my laptop no longer has a CD-ROM but I was able to find the download on one of the help screens. I would recommend having the product sold as a USB stick.

DO NOT LIKE ABOUT YOUR PRODUCT:
The pre-tax calculation a person can do before the end of Feb. to find out if they should put away more money in RRSP's. Your mini program gives different answers when you put the same information in. It is no where near what the actual Income Tax payment or return is. Either fix it so it is more accurate or get rid of it.
I even went back after doing our taxes and the answers were way off.

easy tax

You can't go wrong.
Excellent for any type of user. Does the work for you and explains what is required. You can be thorough and understand each step or just plug in the figures and finish quickly. Just a few minutes and the mysterious, intimidating and complex business of filing a tax return is tamed.

Great for the Simple Returns!
This beats the old method of going through a book with limited guidance and maximum frustration. This is a simple step-by-step return and I think they should change its name to "Tax Returns for Dummies"!

Found a lack of menus, ie could not close blank forms while preparing taxes. Was able to finally close unused forma after NetFiled and printed return to PDF.

T Tax

Helped A Lot
Saved a lot of time by entering repetetive info. automatically. Employees understanding and helpful with my meager computer skills without a condescending attitude. almost missed dependent income
TurboTax imported my prior year's info including my sister as an infirm dependent. However, it did not prompt me to enter her income, and I skipped over the info edit opportunity during EasyStep. It really should prompt you to update information that changes year to year. Fortunately I review things in Forms view and eventually noted that her income was set to zero.
Another strange thing is that in the forms it shows her address as my address and does not let you change that. If you select "No" for whether the dependent lives with you, then you should be able to enter the actual home address for the dependent, in case CRA cross checks that with her file.
Finally, it would help if TT would remind you that when claiming expenses for a dependent, you enter it the same way as for your own expenses -- it ends up in the same form, and then later you specify how much of that total corresponds to the dependent. I only claim expenses for my sister (who lives alone on disability income and whom I therefore support substantially). But I get tripped up on the fact that I am not entering my own expenses, forget to check the corresponding box, and then end up at the end of the return with an error about the medical expenses claimed for others being more than the total expenses. So I backtrack and figure it out and fill it in ...
Also, why does "amount for children" in the dependent info dialog box under forms default to Yes? Doesn't make sense for infirm dependent who is a sibling. And if you set it to No in the dependent info dialog box under forms for the next column (otherwise empty), it complains about incomplete info for dependent #2 .... strange.

So Easy To Use

Chat line
I had a problem in the income splitting area and the program was not allowing me to NET file. I decided to try the chat line and after waiting a hour and one half I chattted with one of the employees and explained the situation That person went and checked and it was determiend a fix to this problem was underway and the program was set to be updated. She asked I try in 48 hours and the problem should be corrected. I did this and the problem wqas corrected. The chat person was very helpful.. I was concerned that this problem with the program occured in the first place however after checking was saitisified in the correction timeframe.

Usability better
They have added the option of changing the contrast, and slightly enlarging the fonts. Neither option is completely adequate, but it is a huge improvement from previous years.
Dear Intuit - GREY isn't a good contrast to *anything*. Sincerely, everyone with low vision.
