Medical receipts labourous (we had over 100 receipts)....
where to mail is hard to find after leaving then re entering turbotax
after retiring t4 is hard to enter
why so much emphasis on direct deposit after retiring for a while.....we have been getting pensions that way for 3 years...I nearly changed it and that would probably foul things up for pensions

Use it every year.
I use Turbo Tax every year. It's pretty easy but some of the interview questions are hard to understand if you don't know a lot about taxes. I winged the interview process and then went back to the forms and fixed anything I thought was incorrect. Other than that, great product...will use it again next year. :-)

Fast and efficient, but difficult to read
The font size seems smaller in the 2014 edition, and having characters in blue compounds the problem.

Well designed software
This is my first time trying Turbo Tax software to prepare T1 tax returns. I am very impress with simple features and easy guidelines. I would definitely use this product again. Just wish you could print a T1 summary for personal records.

Good stuff so far
I've used Turbo tax for several years and it seems to work very well. I've only done one simple one so far this year with a couple other more complex ones to go, so I'll reserve judgement on those

Awesome product
This program is very good to use and calculations are accurate, only thing I would like to see more are medical bills where when you have more than once to enter that you can select it instead of entering it in everytime. That's my only reason to give it a 4 versus a 5

Still preferred last years screen version better. Still some glitches in program. Sometimes DELETED information not recognized as having been DELETED. But all in all still the best tax program.

WHY ????

Good but needs more space in some fields
For the most part, help in the software is good, but should have warnings about changing the name for deceased taxpayers .
The space needed for estate names is not sufficient for taxpayers with longer names.

Fifth Year In A Row!
Having worked in the public and private accounting sector in the past, I have used many different tax packages. Turbo Tax is quick and easy to use for straight-forward personal income tax returns and has been my choice for five consecutive years.

Easy as pie
I did our taxes for my husband and I in about 36 minutes from start to netfiling. My only frustration was that I have a hyphenated married name and the field would not accept it. So I had to put my entire name in without a hyphen. Sure hope it doesn't cause any unnecessary headaches.

Slighty Glitchy
I kind of wish the program would auto save after every screen, as Turbo Tax shut down when I was on the last page and I lost all of my information. Needless to say, I saved every page the second time.

It works
I would like to see the software be able to show an actual dollar amount difference when asking which spouse should claim a certain credit.
Also, recommend who should be claiming credits for more situations. (spouse, dependants, etc.)
Ex. If husband claims this credit, refund will be $xx.xx
If wife claims this credit, refund will be $xxx.xx
recommend wife claims this.

Simple and Easy to Use
Works for me and the simple tax needs of my family. The software walks me though all the receipts and slips I have to enter and helps me maximize my return. Top marks for Ease of Use. Less so for Value. And why wouldn't I recommend it to friends? Most of my friends and colleagues are Mac users (myself included) and there is not a Mac version of TurboTax. Furthermore, I need to keep an old IBM machine in the basement and pull it out once a year just to do my taxes.

Easy to use
I've used previous online versions of TurboTax and found them very easy to use. This new DVD version was not as easy to use, and I found the bit at the end for the NETfile to be difficult to navigate through because there seemed to be a crucial part of the instructions missing, and I had to go back and forth through them numerous times to be able to figure out what was wrong that didn't allow me to correctly link my return to NETfile. My sister who used this program as well had a similar comment.
