A Little Confusing this year
We have used TurboTax for 4+ years now. This year we found that it was more complicated then previously. It did not automatically allow for the imported deductions from our college student. It also did not allow for the automatic deduction of our youngest child. Might go with an accountant next year. It is clear that we missed out on some refunds.

Improve the renewal process
The program worked great - The renewal process is at best horrible. I tried with my password from last year - NO - I sent for a temporary password, entered it - NO - I sent for a second temporary password, entered it - NO - Please improve this part of the renewal system

Missing entry capability
A good program but I did a first time return for an immigrant and it would not let me enter the date of entry on page 1; I had to write it in on the printed copy. How would I get this info if I net filed the return?

Netfiling
I must say that Netfiling has improved tremendously. It is so easy to use now. I used to tear my hair out at the end of doing returns trying to get the Netfile to go.

Long-time User
have used TurboTax for many years and have found it to be thorough and accurate as well as reasonably easy to work with. I would rate it a 5-star if it didn't ask me to review tax saving options that clearly don't apply to me as they're income-based and the software should already know I don't qualify. A minor point but one that increases the time needlessly and would appear to be an easy thing to fix. Otherwise, it's an excellent program for doing a task that no one enjoys.

Worth buying TurboTax
This software is very easy to use. It makes filing tax returns quick an intuitive. The tips are very useful and it helps you optimize your return. You also receive your refund faster by filing your return this way.

Great buy
This year much easier and net file was so smooth but you must register product first in order to net file I figured that out the next day the should have explained this from begging, in addition a little confusing to go back into forms last year was much easier but overall great product.

Fix Overrides Didn't Work
Long time user encountered first problematic error. Attempted to remove an override that I didn't realize I made using the wizard and it didn't work. Had to manually go into Forms and search out the error and manually remove the highlighted in red override.

Very Simple but one suggestion
We've used TurboTax for many years and each year the added features and usability get better. One suggestion is now with the Family Tax cut there is lots of back and forth between spouse's returns. Would be great if TurboTax can come with a simple way to deal with this so not having to close one return, open the next, find the right line, close that one, go back to the original and enter the numbers. And do it all over again when you get to the next step requiring spouse information. Even being able to keep two returns open would be helpful.

secon time arround
This is the second year that I used Turbo Tax , last year I was frustrated with the program and didn't understand how to maneuver through the files , this year it all fell into place . The explanation at the beginning was very helpful and also sending it through netfile was a breeze , good job.

Great Tax Software
Have been using for years and is great software. Came across the first glitch this year with an 'override' in the review section. I do not recall overriding anything and took me better part of 45 minutes to discover that I had to save and close turbotax completely and then re-open my form for this error to be removed. Other than this little annoyance its great software.
