Waste of Effort
My wife and I jointly own several pieces of rental property. I have to enter all the income and expenses for each building separately for her and my returns. Why not have a way to generate a copy of the sheet for the other taxpayer. What a waste of time and effort. In many cases where I copied and pasted data from one return to the other, it appeared to be pasted correctly but if you closed the form and reopened it, the data wasn't there. Very sloppy programming!

Worth the Price
I found the program very easy to use, except that I could not find out how to see or print information detailing the calculation of the 'Age Amount' for either my wife or myself. It would be helpful if the program would give one the option of reviewing and printing the various worksheets used in various calculations.

Death of a taxpayer
I love the product and have been using it for many years and plan on continuing to use it. This year, I had to prepare a return for my mom that passed away. I found that not enough information was provided for the tax return preparation of a dead taxpayer. ie the Quebec prescription drug program - whether the months that were not used should be part of the months that we do not have to pay a premium, etc

little pricy

Okay Software
The software is okay but I believe that it can be made better and more user friend, for instance the Donation optimizer doesn't work properly and too much power is given to the personal tax profile tab. Overall TurboTax I will recommend it to friends mainly because there is no better alternative in the market.

not happy
I found that it doesn't enter all the information and when I try to enter thr required information it will not accept it or tells me to override which then means I cannot netfile which is the reason I used the program in the first place. I have looked for the problembut have had nno luck

DIFFICULTY STARTING THE PROGRAM
TurboTax 2013 INSTALLED AND UPDATED WITH NO DIFFICULTY. However, it was incredibly difficult to start the program; it would not start either by double-clicking the desktop icon or the executable file in Program Files. Finally in desperation, I clicked the desktop icon as fast as I could non-stop, and after many, many, many clicks, it finally started. When I was just trying to start it with a normal double-click, the Windows 8 loading cursor (spinning circle) would start, run about 2 seconds, and stop - and never start TurboTax. It was incredibly frustrating; I was almost ready to toss the CD in the trash, and go to the post office for the paper forms. My OS is Windows 8 - TT13 DOES NOT SEEM TO LIKE IT (although last year TT12 gave me no difficulties).

Valuable but quirky
I find the program indispensible. It has saved me many dollars as well as much time over the years. But surely, Intuit is making enough money off this puppy that you can afford to put a development team onto fixing its quirks, omissions, and bugs!

First Time for Direct Deposit
Saw several simple typos in the material - very poor for a well established product!
As a first time TurboTax user I found the Direct Deposit section difficult to understand vis a vis whether NETFILE could be used at all. Finally realized a cheque would be issued in any event and therefore filed online successfully.

Good value; easy to use
I have used Turbo Tax (previously Quick Tax) for years. I like being able to flip between the "forms" view and the step-by-step method. Also like the graphical views and the various optimizers.
My only complaint is the font size. It is incredibly small, and try as I might, I could not find a way to increase it, short of changing the resolution on my screen. I squinted through the whole process. Turbox tax should have accessibility features for those of us whose eyesight is not what it used to be!

Great improvement over last year's netfile procedure.
Much simpler now. Consider including a key for instantly accessing a tax summery during the easy step process to see how each entry affects the final result. Include the spousal side also. Just a suggestion. Otherwise a great program. Thanks.

Too Much Junk on Working Pages
I appreciate you are trying to maximize revenue but please save all the offers until after I've done my taxes cause it just gets in the way of my mission; you have a better chance of taking more money from me after I get my refund.
The questions section takes up a third of every page I had to work on; get real and just have a smaller section for questions.

Two Small Problems
The software didn't prompt me to declare expenses for the rental of a safety deposit box. I had to go back and find where to enter them once I realized that I had not yet claimed them.
Secondly I noticed that by signing up for automatic purchase of the software directly from the manufacturer / developer, I paid more than I would have by purchasing the product from one of your big distributors. I would think that you could offer me their discounted price since I am purchasing directly from you.

An excellent product for its intended purpose
I have been a CA for 40+ years but have never even approached the status of a tax expert. That said however I do have a better than average understanding of the basic essentials of tax return preparation and the information required. From that perspective I find, and have found in the past, that Turbo Tax is an excellent product for its intended purpose. I am wondering whether for the benefit of less well grounded users future editions of the software could feature such on screen warnings as "are you are missing your CPP entry" after having entered incomplete T4 data and then moving on to another set of to-be-entered data. Warnings or "heads-up" notices in real time could be very useful.

MEDICAL EXPENSES
IN THE MEDICAL EXPENSES SECTION THERE IS NOW EASY WAY TO LUMP MANY BILLS TOGETHER. THE DATE IS ONLY FOR ONE BILL. THIS SECTION NEEDS TO BE IMPROVED SO IT IS EASY TO COMPLETE. IE THE BILLING PERIOD.
THE REST OF THE PROCESS WAS EASY ENOUGH.
WHEN TURBO TAX SENDS OUT E MAILS ASING TO BUY ON LINE THERE IS NO WAY TO RETURN INFO THAT I BUY AT A STORE.
