ok, but has it's drawbacks
I didn't like some of the warnings that came up at the end indicating that they were specific to me:
CHANGE of name, DOB etc.
Also, it claimed that I made an error with medical expenses when I hadn't claimed any...I spent a lot of time making sure this was not true.
Other than that it was ok

Bugs
There seem to be some bugs in the review/fix MB prov tax credits. Her refund went from1409.00 to owe 179.00 No matter what I changed the amt owed stayed at 179.00. I closed TurboTax reopen it ran the review made some changes (moved donations from me to her) and her refund then increased. The same action previously yielded no change to the owe 179.00.
On the spouse return the review said that there were overrides. I do not recall using any overrides. I cleared them all. On the next review Msg about overrides reappeared. This time I elected to go to forms/edit/examine each override. Msg immediately said no overrides found. Third review same thing, so I elected to just clear them all and went to netfile.
I did an update just prior to doing the final reviews. Is there a way to resume a review rather than start all over again. It was getting tedious and a bit irritating to go through review steps that had been seen/fixed.

Continues to be best purchase
I have used this product for over 5 years and it continues to meet my expectations. Easy to use the tax help and explanations are very useful. If further detail required you can access online assistance.

Suggestions
Would be more convenient if PRINT would print form last page first so customer doesn't have to sort back into proper order. CUSTOM WORKSHEET - Column #1 suggested for reporting additional Bond Information wiouldn't accept total number of columns required on a single line. Entry would only go about half way across?

Turbo Tax
It was easy to use but the ad's were really horrible. For the price I paid for this software it should be ad free. I had ad's for a Will, for quicken, for tax protection etc.

Love new netfile
I love that you have made it so much easier to netfile. No longer have to transfer file from my documents, etc. to attach file.
On your last page where it asks if you want direct deposit, it needs rewriting. Ask "Do you wish to direct deposit?" Yes or no. Then,"Do you need to open or change a direct deposit?" Yes or no. It is contradictory as it is now written. I have to select NO to say I want direct deposit.

Purchase of next year's Turbo Tax
This time I thought I'd purchase next year's version online; however, the purchase showed cost was $0 - yet I gave my credit card info. Did I buy it or not?? No way to get in touch with the company - no e-mail to get my question answered - I'm pretty annoyed. I like the program but from now on, I'll buy it at the store !!

Why not compatible with MAC computers.
There are 2 irritants.
1) this software does not work on Mac computers. All operating systems should be compatible. As result, I need to keep an old PC just to do Taxes. ...I would never use a PC for regular internet any other time.
2) The Tuition transfares, should come with automatic direction of what steps to take for the person claming.

Too Many Ads
When you are using the program, they hit you with all kinds of ads for wills, upgrades etc.

Have been using your product for a few years now and found that it is easy to use . It follows a logical path to file beginning with personal info, Income etc. The layout is easy to understand and simple enough to navigate. One area that I found confusing is when reviewing it is not always made clear that changing inputs will or will not change the final tax filing. This gets confusing after reviewing if you have more to change no info given on how to do it.

Satisfied
I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years now and am very satisfied with the product. It carries all the requirements for my tax needs and has easy to use tax information to assist my decision processes. My transition to retirement and income splitting this year made me wonder if the Turbo Tax program would still be as easy to use. I need not have been concerned as I was able to find all the information and utilize some tax tips to maximize my return.

This is a product that I purchase year after year and it keeps on improving to make it easier to file my taxes.
Very impressed, and will continue to be a user of Turbo Tax! I like that it provides warning towards the end to ensure that you did everything correctly, and also shares tax saving opportunities just in case you missed to include additional claims.
Awesome product, and done in less than an hour.

much easier to use than ufile
I used Ufile last year it was horrible to use. The easy step interview was much easier to use than Ufile.It was so much easier I had a client who I was doing pro bono sit and answer the questions with very little help from myself . She felt that next year she was going to buy the program and do her own taxes by herself last year the other software took 3 times a s long and I had to manually correct many errors which the other program had left out .
