Its About Tax Not Pressure Selling
The usability of this program has really increased over the years. It is truly simple to use. Kudos!
Unfortunately the Ad content has also increased. I paid good money to have to click thru ads - WHY???
And I really really do not appreciate the hard sell on working with Revenue Canada. They are wonderfully professional to work with and actually try to save you money.
So great program but please delete the ads.

Quality program

TurboTax review function could be better
I find the tax hints the program gives to be really dumb. The software knows how old I am and directs me to Senior's credits. Also hints that I should apply for the HST credit yet it knows my income. This is better than a few years ago when it was telling me to check to see if I qualify for the Film and TV tax credit. What?

Used for many years
I have used Turbo Tax (Quicktax) for many years. I use the step by step method. I like the new efiling system. I worry about the pension splitting - it did't seem to help our situation so I don't know if it worked or not. I don't like the auto-renew feature ... maybe I will be using a tax consultant next year, and maybe I can find it cheaper instore or online in 2015.

A user-friendly software
I found TurboTax a lot easier to use this year - maybe I'm just getting the hang of it, but I really think the company has made it simpler. I did my own and my wife's returns federal and provincial in one sitting. Thanks for creating the software.

CRA Netfile confirmation
The CR|A Netfile confirmation page needs to have an option to PRINT!!!!! I always printed the confirmation and kept it with my copies.

Makes filing sooo easy
2nd year using this service, it is easy to use. However I feel that the company should sell this product a bit cheaper. It is just a disk in a box really with software on it. lower price would be nice, but love the progrm

Great way to do tax
I have used this program for my family for as many years as it has been published. There have been few glitches and their help line is ACTUALLY human beings and they know their product.
Prior to using computer based programs I did my the family taxes at home. The step by step method takes you to the areas you need. The only issue I have found was in filing for the Manitoba Education Tax Rebate where the directions required a call to their help line.
The personal tax situation includes having earned income, investment income, investment carrying costs, RSP withdrawals and pension income. The program has never had a material error.

Love this program
I have used this program for years and love it. You can do the refund for a spouse at the same time but I wish I could do the kids too so I could see how much of their tuition I should use!

Many years of use
I have been using Turbo Tax and its predecessor for more than 15 years and have always been satisfied. It is now even easier to use now that netfile is almost automatic.

Really good...but
This product has always been very good and I would recommend it however while attempting to claim for a tradesperson the program led us slightly astray. Under the option of other expenses related to unemployment the details state that tools are not included as part of this option. However this option is where any deduction for tools for tradespersons exists. This is very misleading and caused us to miss the deduction the first time. Otherwise a good product!

Good Purchase Vzlue
I like the new features and the easy step procedure. I really like the bring forward from last year data feature. I did not appreciate having to purchase a new PC because I ran Windows XP and your software was rated to run on Windows XP, but there was a glitch with your software and Windows XP, that rendered the use of your software impossible with Windows XP. I really do not appreciate the adds for your other products that come up when we are stepping through the process. I paid for the software, I should not have to endure seperate pages of advertising for other software or services, please combine them onto 1 page. Your warnings and errors check is nice, but when I step through the warining or error, and do not change anything, the warning or error should go away immediately.

Always use it - easy to file taxes
Had trouble this year putting in miles from old home to new home in Moving Expenses. It wouldn't save and keep it - kept reverting to a number I didn't put in. Most frustrating. Only finally worked at the review portion of the system when it said Fix and went back and let the number stay. first time that has happened in 6 years.
