stop the advertising
Good product, I've used it every year for over a decade. I've seen enough advertising for upgrades and other products; please take them out or at least give me a choice at the beginning of the process to "opt out" of seeing them.

Easy to Use
I've used this program for a number of years and it has made filing my tax return more of a pleasure than a pain. You have the opportunity to answer specific questions to help the program highlight the items you are required to fill out.

I find Turbo Tax very easy to use to complete taxes. The program covers all situations, and you can edit information very easily as long as you haven't filed.

Easier than ever before
This year was the best software product ever - with automatic netfiling it makes it so much easier - thanks for creating such a great tax product and keep up the good work.
The only bug I found was when you're doing a students taxes and want to select your parents/grandparents to transfer funds to it will fill it out properly for the federal portion of the form but the provincial form will have spouse selected so you have to go to the form to select parents/grandparents before submitting.
Other then that one little bug it's great easy to use tax preparation software.

Needs to improve Home Buyers Repayment Section
This section is still a bit off. I want to overpay my minimum amount (as I did last year) and this section is still not clear in how it wants to deal with that situation.
If I can't do that, tell me. Instead, it confuses an overpayment with an underpayment. Fix it!

Improvement
1. For final return, you could use capital loss to reduce income according to CRA. But TurboTax does not allow you to do this.
2. The confirmation number from Netfile cannot be printed. Please fix this problem for 2014 Income Tax.

Have used Turbo for many years...Thism year I found it confusing and difficult to get from being ready to file to actually get netfile done...Spill not 100% sure whether I got both returns filed...but I have confirmation numbers so will assume all has indeed been filed.

No Tax Pain With This Product
This is the second year I've purchased "Turbo Tax". In the past I always did the paper return by myself and thought I did a good job. After using "Turbo Tax" our tax refunds are higher than before and it practically does all the work for me. Had some problems with printing but that has nothing to do with the product. I would definitely recommend it

TurboTax2013
I have never done my own taxes before - I always had the help of parents or in-laws. I realized that they were not going to be around forever, and took the plunge. I assembled all my papers and bought the software - what a breeze! TurboTax calmly led me from step to step, and even allowed me to ask questions along the way (links or pop-up boxes). TurboTax allowed me to both electronically send my taxes AND save a hard copy (cuz' I'm not quite ready to do it ALL electronically...). An excellent product; I have signed up to have automatic delivery of next year's version.

Eases the Pain
Tax time is a necessary evil.
TurboTax soothes some of the pain.
Easystep is the most important part.
Once you have chosen your circumstances, it walks you through the rest and makes suggestions along the way.
Help & additional info is just a click away.
AND, you just have to love the new feature of one step CRA Netfile.

I only had 4 returns to do this year, so buying the box edition was not good value. Next year I will just buy on line and pay per return.
Otherwise, quite easy to use, I just found some of the explanations a little hard to follow. That could be just me though.

Good but could be better
At the end of the review I was advised that I had some inconsistence but I could not know what it was. As I compared my Income Tax Return from last year with the information I provided this year I could not find any discrepancy.

Fine product
Easy to use with a smooth flow from form to form. Did find the net filing a bit awkward, but after filing returns for all my kids it smoothed out aswell.

Used it for years...but
I have used Turbo Tax/Intuit for years and always use the 'long' method to answer all the questions.
THIS year was confusing when the software asked about Medical Expenses that I had not entered.
Otherwise good as always and easy to use.

Very disappointed in Turbo tax this year I installed it on my lap top. then I wanted to install it on my Imac running windows parallel. It would not let me I said that the key was already used. It would not let me install.
I have been a faithful user for 15 years now I get this could you please explain this to me. My file number is 1102252705.
Called your help line and got that is the way it is.

Easy to use and very intuitive

Getting better
Original complaint was that Quicktax was so simple and easy to use that any version since took far longer.
Turbotax has made great steps in the right direction with this years' version. Still a little too verbose for what I'm looking for but much much better.
I think its great that the company is listening to consumers and looking to make the experience simpler, faster including the one button submission. Good job.

better than last year
I like how you have changed the end where you now just click CRA as previously I found it confusing t convert te file before being ablle to sent to the gov and had to real over many times before I was able to file on line and every year the same. Now its much easier.

online support
The only flaw in this system is that you have to pay for online support. I truely believe this year that there was a bug in the system because entering $1000 in medical expenses vs $15000 in income should hav netted a refund of some of those medical expenses. Need to have free online support for questions. I already paid for the software i should not have to pay for the support as well.

TurboTax Fo;omg
TurboTax terminology facilitated completing my income tax. The language was easy to read and understand making it easy to fill in the required data. Being able to complete the income tax at home was much less costlier than that of a tax preparer/accountant.

Easy steps are getting better every year. Netfile is even easier. The only thing I would suggest is to make it easier to move faster/forward through easy steps if you had to go back and make a change.
