Simple, efficent, works for me!
I started with Quick Tax more than 10 years ago, the software has always been easy to use, the navigation is efficient, and the help system is great. I am a fan and loyal user.

Easy to use
I found Turbo Tax easier than ever to use this year. All calculations are done automatically and I just chose the answers. The only problem encountered was when I tried to rate the product. On the first attempt my computer locked up and I worked about 20 minutes to get it to re-boot. On the second attempt it again said it was busy and I had to close another program (which was not running) and I was finally able to reach this screen to rate Turbo Tax. Don't know if it is a glitch in the program or my computer.

Advertising
Not happy with the mid program advertising, very annoying. I purchased this product and did not exoect to have too deal with selling or upgrading. Very disappointed to see that.

Sign-In Requirement
There should not be a requirement to create an account and sign in, in order to ask a specific question. The tax return takes long enough to do as it is, you don't want to have to stop completing the return in order to create a user name and yet another password to remember, just to have a question answered. Should be able to ask the question directly and receive an answer.
Also, this is a TAX TOOL, not Facebook - why the need for all the personal information below the review. It's no-one else's business.

Overall good / easy to use
I really like TurboTax for it's easy to use interface. It takes the stress out of tax season, and with this year's changes to allow automatic NetFile of the returns, it is easier than ever.
My only complaint is an issue that appears each year. Windows screen size MUST be set to 125%. Otherwise problems occur when filling in data in the application. If this error were to be fixed, my rating for the 2014 version would be full 5 stars.
Overall, a great application and definitely recommended.

Even though I use this program, I usuually complete tax forms manually first. This product picked up a non-refundable tax credit that I had missed. This gave me a bigger return than I had calculated.

Better this year
I always find this a very heplful and inexpensive way to submit our taxes.The endind with the actual filing of the returns was much better and very easy to use.I look forward to doing my taxes next year,I am sure there will be more updates to improve this process.Thanks Turbo Tax!!

easy peasy
Turbo Tax is good software, should be able to claim the cost as an expense, since it make government work easier, having to open the link for the terms of net file just to close it again so you can file is a little confusing the accept conditions shouldn't be "clickable" if you have to open the link anyway

Good buy
Good tool.
I would suggest an enhancement that would allow the ability to complete 2 returns separately (as individuals) then determine to join them together afterwards (as spouses/common-law) and walk you through any adjustments.
Like to see sooner version to use to plan RRSP purchases earlier (make it available in December).

Easy to use
Love quick step, just follow the steps and away you go. I did use the question search this time and didn't actually find my answer. Found that a question was asked but not answered so I'll keep trying questions but sometimes end up at google.

I wish it had a Linux/Android Compatibility
I have been using TurboTax for several years. My only complaint is I wish I could file using my Linux/Android platforms without paying a steep per return price, to do it over the net.

Good, but....
I have used Turbo Tax/Quick Tax since 2007 and have suggested it to almost any person who will listen to me, I love it. I did however encounter a problem last year. I filed in April and both my wife and I received refunds, come November I was sent a Notice of Reassesment and a bill for $1284.34. I know this is because of the information that I input so I do not blame the program but the mistake was very obvious (in hindsight) and I guess I assumed the program would catch an error of this type and magnitude. It could have been a glitch in the program or maybe it was never considered but I did notice the box I would have had to check yes to this year and made sure not to make that mistake again. My initial thoughts were this could be an extravagant marketing ploy to sell their "Professional Review" services...or maybe I am just paranoid. Regardless, I bought the product again because it is easy and I enjoy doing taxes this way.

Nice Work... but....
This is a great product. But my windows laptop is on its last legs and there doesn't appear to be a Mac version of this... at least one I'm aware of. That needs to change.

Tuition transfer to parent
Only way to show that tuition and education amounts were transferred to a parent was to go into the forms individually. There should be a question in the Easy Step to identify amounts being transferred to a parent or spouse.
