Easy and quick option
I've been using TurboTax Intuit Canada for the past few years, and I don't see why I would change. It's simple, easy, quick, helpful, supportive. Being a student, I don't want to pay extra, so getting this service for free is very rewarding! FAQs and help lines are very useful, as well as the info boxes hyperlinks. Love it, wouldn't change it :)

It is the perfect place to use for students because it is free! I couldn't ask for anything better. It is my first time filing my own taxes and it was straightforward and easy. I finished the same day I started.

Overall Easy to use
the software itself is easy to use. explanations could be simplified for some fields. otherwise, a good purchase, affordable and cheaper than its competitors. considering a change in status (student) and needing guidance for medical and work expenses, this software has been helpful.

Pleasantly Surprised
I am not an accountant and have done my taxes. Usually pay someone else to do them for me. Decided to try something different this year, especially since the deadline is fast approaching.
It was very straightforward and easy. Was surprised and glad that I could do it myself. This is what I will use from here on out.

I did it on my ipad
Would love see them work on an app for Quebec seeing as the snap tax isn't valid for Quebec.
Otherwise they can work on their page being mobile and ipad friendly for their tabs.
All in all thoe ares all details! Great product ad it's free. Will definitely use it when I'm not a student!

1st Use of Turbo Tax
This is my first time filing my taxes with a software and by myself. It was fun, though time consuming. I enjoyed the fact that this software has many guidelines and it allows you go back and forth to different parts of your file. My only wish is that I could be absolutely certain that I made no errors or missed something. It says I made none but I'm not absolutely sure. (I realized some errors just before I filed - like the fact that I forgot to add NE to my address and the fact that the 'first name' box should include my first and middle name; Turbo tax didn't flag these things). Overall however, it was great using this software and the community page of questions and answers helped a great deal in understanding some things.

Pretty good
A bit difficult to figure out how to carry forward unused tuition from previous years, but once I figured it out it was smooth sailing. Great value, very easy to use the online system, very nice and stable website as well. Would use again!

Easy and Convenient
Intuitive interface(hah!). Really helped me navigate the maze that is the tax code. Just entering in numbers in boxes and you'll soon be done. Could use some more help info specific to each line. Great value for money. Hopefully I don't get audited :P

Some Room to Improve
This is a great software, but there are a few points that can get a little bit confusing or that were different and easier previously. For example, what is the real difference between income earned while being "self-employed" and "other income"? Apparently the difference is that you can only claim one income for "other income," while you need to have a business in order to be self-employed. It would be easier for me to know this in advance, instead of scrambling back and forth between pages. That's the other thing: scrambling back and forth between pages because something is not fully clear or is new this year; this process makes me spend more time than necessary, and for the sake of future paying users, I hope this is addressed. However, this software continues to be user-friendly in other ways, I like how there are forums, and it's easier this year to go back and forth than in previous years. Besides that, this tax software is free for students to use and file away.

Student Turbo Tax
The only thing that could be improved on this site is an explanation on how to claim my rent paid, it was very confusing and I had to take it to a relative to be sure I had done it right.
Other than that this program is extremely easy to use and fast. I will be using it again.

Easy to use, International issues still mystifying
As an international student, this was my first time filing taxes in Canada, and Turbo Tax made it very simple. It guided you through the process step-by-step, asking appropriate questions. The only confusing part concerns resident status for international students. Turbo Tax explains the terms, but I wish they will build in a Wizard to ask you questions to help you figure out your status.

This was really helpful for a first-time filer like myself. I'm a non-Canadian citizen, attending University full time and I was pretty lost when it came to Canadian taxes. I was glad to have this option, especially considering that it was free for those with a low income. It's really, really helpful for them to provide such an option.

Great resource
Great software. I`ve been using it for the last 2 years. Save me from having to run around. Pretty straight forward. Only complication was bursaries not being declared in the federal income and only in the quebec income. Would be great if that could be clarified.
